INTRODUCTION
iScut™ is the digital alternative to the paper “scut” lists (i.e. medical “to do” lists that also contain patient history) that are still being used by healthcare professionals in hospitals everywhere.
iScut™ is designed for healthcare professionals who require fast and practical methods to record their daily “to do” lists and notes for hospital rounds.
SPEED
iScut™ provides simultaneous viewing of your patient list and the “to do” list, allowing for rapid switching among different patients. You will always be able to see both the proverbial entire “forest” as well as the individual “trees” allowing confidence in managing all your patients needs.
There are many preset “to do” tasks that allow you to add specific tasks (e.g. for laboratory tests) at the single press of a button.
VERSATILITY
iScut™ has a simple and intuitive macro editor that allows the easy use of keyboard shortcuts to generate your often used text expressions (e.g. diagnoses, procedures, laboratory tests, etc). Templates may also be created, allowing easy generation of SOAP style notes or other formats for notes.
EXTRAORDINARY
The interface is clean and logical. Underlying the simple interface is a sophisticated and powerful database.
CONCLUSION
There is now finally an app to replace the venerable paper “scut” lists.
iScut™ is available for iPhone™ and iPod touch® devices (running at least iOS 9.0).
Please note that this software is not capable of performing medical consultations. iScut™ is a personal information organizational tool only and should be used only by healthcare professionals. iScut™ is not an electronic medical record system and should not be used for maintaining official patient medical records.
